Welcome to another edition of Peakz Potenzial—let’s keep climbing toward your highest potential!

Each step we take together is a step closer to living the life you’ve envisioned and embracing your fullest potential.

1. Faces Of Motivation

It is a multifaceted force, that drives us towards our goals in many ways. There are different types of it.

  • Intrinsic Motivation: This comes from inside us, like having fun, being curious, and wanting to learn and grow. It keeps us going even when we don't get rewards from outside.

  • Extrinsic Motivation: This comes from things outside us, like getting rewards, praise, or avoiding punishment. Short-term rewards from outside can work, but relying on them can make us less motivated from the inside.

  • Achievement Motivation: This pushes us to do our best and beat our own records. We want to be good at things, feel capable, and get things done.

  • Social Motivation: This comes from our need to make friends, build relationships, and be part of a bigger group.

2. Finding Your Motivational Drivers

Finding out what motivates you is key. What gets you going? Maybe it's the excitement of picking up new skills, or the good feeling you get when you reach a tough goal. Or perhaps you're driven by wanting to lend a hand to others, or by getting a pat on the back from people you work with?

By understanding your unique motivational drivers, you can:

  • Match your goals: Make sure your aims line up with what drives you.

  • Spot good motivators: Figure out the outside rewards and backing from others that can boost your inner drive.

  • Push through tough spots: Use your main motivators to keep going when things get hard and stay on track.

3. A Balanced Approach

Even though intrinsic motivation is generally considered more sustainable, if we combine it both intrinsic and extrinsic. Which will be a more balanced approach which is highly effective.

I hope this edition of Peakz Potenzial helps you understand the different types of motivation and how to leverage them to achieve your goals.
